Vidullanka Enhances its Power Generation
Vidullanka commissioned its third mini hydropower project that was developed in partnership with Elpitiya plantations Ltd on 10th October 2008. The project is of a total of 560kW installed capacity with an estimated annual production of 2.3GWh. Its location is at Pundaluoya Oya Sheen estate in the Nuwara Eliya district and the water course used is a main branch stream of the river Pundaluoya Oya.
