Gurugoda Hydro (Pvt) Limited recently donated play ground equipments as well as constructed the play ground for Ganthuna Udagama Junior School, situated in a remote area of Kegalle district. The school has 50 students who are pursuing studies till G.C.E. A/L. The play ground was officially opened on 06th August, 2010.

Gurugoda Hydro (Pvt) Limited is a joint venture between Vidullanka PLC and Gurugoda Hydro (Pvt) Limited. This is a the second major corporate social responsibility activity carried out Gurugoda Hydro (Pvt) Limited who had initially constructed a bridge for the villagers in the area.
